2015 Event Result - Denton Golf Club - Friday 16th October 2015
Stockport LMC enjoyed n overcast afternoon at Denton Golf Club for the 15th Annual LMC Golf Challenge on 16th October 2015.
The trophy was won by Dr Peter Carne who was the highest finishing Stockport Doctor. Longest drive was taken by LMC Chairman Dr Nij Hussain whilst last year's winner Adam Fitzpatrick earned the prize for nearest the pin

2014 Event Result - Romiley Golf Club - Friday 5th September 2014
Stockport LMC enjoyed a sunny afternoon at Romiley Golf Club for the 14th Annual LMC Golf Challenge on 5th September 2014.
Adam Fitzpatrick ensured the our local consultants retained the trophy with a very impressive 40 points. Executive Officer, Paul Stevens came second and also walked off with the nearest the pin trophy whilst Dr Nic Devine was third.

2013 Event Result - Hazel Grove Golf Club - September 2013
Stockport LMC returned to Hazel Grove Golf Club for the 13th Annual LMC Golf Challenge in September 2013.
A three way tie on 36 points was separated on count back with our consultant colleague, Ansel Agwunobi securing the trophy with 20 points on the back nine giving him 36 points in total. Dr Keith Richardson took second place with his last 6 holes points tally of 12 points sneaking ahead of Adam Fitzpatrick's 8 points.

2009 Event Result - Heaton Moor Golf Club - Friday 25th September 2009
Stockport LMC returned to Heaton Moor Golf Club for the 9th Annual LMC Golf Challenge on 25th September 2009.
Dr Murugan ensured the trophy remained In North Reddish winning the trophy for the first time with 37 points and improving on his third place last time out. Completing an excellent day for himself, Dr Murugan also retained the Longest Drive prize. Dr Ash Patel cam second and also walked off with the nearest the pin trophy whilst Dr David Dawson came third on his home course.

2008 Event Result - New Mills Golf Club - Friday 19th September 2008
Your LMC is delighted to announce the result of the 8th Annual LMC Golf Challenge held on 19th September 2008. The event was held at New Mills Golf Club on a glorious day with all golfers enjoying the wonderful views offered by the course.
A new name on the trophy, Dr Nij Hussain scoring an excellent 39 points was pushed all the way by last year's winner, Dr Nic Devine who finished on 35 points. Dr Murugan came third scoring 32 points. Drs Hussain & Murugan completed a memorable day for themselves by walking away with the nearest the pin and longest drive prizes respectively as well.

2007 Event Details
Your LMC is delighted to announce the result of the 7th Annual LMC Golf Challenge held on 7th September 2007. The event was held in at Bramall Park Park Golf Club and despite the sunshine golfers found points difficult to come by during the afternoon.
2005 winner, Dr Nic Devine once again saw his name added to the trophy winning with a solid 37 points, whilst another two time winner, Dr Keith Richardson came in second on 32 points. Dr Peter Carne came 3rd with 30 points.

2006 Event Details
Your LMC is delighted to announce the result of the 6th Annual LMC Golf Challenge held on 6th October 2006. The rain in the week leading up to the event almost forced the event to be cancelled as Bramall Park Golf Club was closed. Fortunately, at the last minute we were able to enjoy an afternoon's golf at the nearby Bramhall Golf Club.
The event was won by Mark Gallagher who scored an impressive 36 points from the 15 holes counting for the competition. In second place was John Swarbrick from Heaton Moor (27 points), whilst 2004 winner, Rob Beardsall took 3rd prize with 26 points.

2005 Event Details
Your LMC is delighted to announce the result of the 5th Annual LMC Golf Challenge held on 23rd September 2005 at Davenport Golf Club.
Stockport GPs enjoyed an afternoon of golf in the sunshine after the morning rain had cleared. Nic Devine improved on his third place finish in 2004 to win this year's event and also win Nearest the Pin. Now retired, Heaton Moor GP, Dr Moola finished 2nd whilst Paul Stevens finished 3rd and took the longest drive prize.
Next year's event is scheduled to take place at Bramall Park Golf Club on Friday 6th October 2006. Full details available from this link.
2004 Event Details
Your LMC is delighted to announce the result of the 4th Annual LMC Golf Challenge held on 3rd September 2004 at Reddish Vale Club.
Reddish Vale Golf Course lived up to its tough reputation as Stockport GPs enjoyed an afternoon of golf in the sunshine. Only 3 golfers scored 30 or more points with Bredbury's Dr Rob Beardsall scoring an excellent 35 points to take the trophy. Last year's runner up, Dr Peter Carne finished 2nd once again whilst Dr Nic Devine, on his home course, finished 3rd for a second time. With no-one reaching the green on the nearest the pin hole, two holes will be chosen at next year's event!
Next year's Challenge has been provisionally booked for Friday 23rd September 2005 at Davenport Golf Club. Put the date in your diaries now!
2003 Event Details
Your LMC is delighted to announce the result of the 3rd Annual LMC Golf Challenge held on 19th September 2003 at Denton Golf Club
Despite the wet conditions some excellent golf was played by competitors at Denton Golf Club with 4 players scoring 40 or more points. On the day Dr Keith Richardson (winner in 2001) topped the order of merit with a new competition record 43 points, Dr Peter Carne and Paul Stevens both scored 41 points, however Peter took second prize by virtue of a better back 9.

Your LMC is delighted to announce the result of the 2nd Annual LMC Golf Challenge held on Friday 13th September 2002 at Hazel Grove Golf Club
Friday 13th September proved lucky for Val Cording's (LMC Lay Secretary) husband, Bernard who played as a guest in the LMC Annual Golf Challenge at Hazel Grove Golf Club. Bernard scored an impressive 41 points, whilst last year's winner, Dr Keith Richardson finished 2nd and Dr Nic Devine completed the top three.

Participants enjoyed an afternoon of Golf at Heaton Moor Golf Club on 21st September with Cheadle Hulme's Dr Keith Richardson taking 1st prize. Chris Davies completed a unique treble for the week taking 2nd Prize & Longest Drive just 2 days after his wife gave birth!!
