Farillon Deal Comes to End

Arrangements with Farillon and Astra Zeneca came to an end on 31st March 2002 following Astra Zeneca's decision to adopt a common pricing policy across Europe for Zoladex effectively reducing the scope for parallel imports.

Stockport LMC will consider new arrangements for Zoladex or its closest competitor, Prostap once the market has settled.

Your LMC is delighted to announce the latest addition to its range of Consortium purchase products namely, Zoladex.

With effect from 1st March 2001, Practices will be able to purchase both one month and three month UK Zoladex from Farillon under specially negotiated terms

In order to guarantee supply and price, Stockport LMC has decided to go with UK Zoladex and not parallel imported product.

All Stockport Medical Practices have been included on a specially created database at Farillon to ensure they can immediately benefit from these new terms & conditions. All Practices need to do to participate is contact Farillon on 01708 330202, stating they are a Stockport practice wishing to order Zoladex. Any problems call Paul Stevens on Old Telephone Number.

To encourage practices to profit from administering Zoladex, Stockport LMC have looked to secure both discounted price and improved credit terms recognizing the cash flow implications of the time lag between practices purchasing and being reimbursed for Zoladex.

To fully assess the arrangement, the consortium arrangement will, in the short term, only be available to Stockport Practices.
