LMC will once again lead the negotiations for the bulk purchase of flu
vaccines for 2001 on behalf of Greater Manchester LMCs. Last
year some 240 practices purchased in excess of 145,000 vaccines through
the LMC Flu Consortium and we are now writing to all practices to gain an
indication of the number of practices and vaccines to be purchased for
2001. Please
could all practices indicate to Paul Stevens
at Stockport LMC whether they wish to participate in the flu consortium
for 2001 and if so detail an estimate of the quantity of vaccines they
would like to purchase. At this stage, for the purpose of
calculating provisional order quantities it is probably best to assume
that the Item of Service Scheme for Flu Vaccinations will be repeated next
year |
